Valenta plumbing was recommended to me after having drain issues. They were able to come out same day. Kevin came out, showed me all that was going on. He took great care in giving me options. This is an add on from my last post as I needed another service from Ron's team. Once again totally satisfied with the work that Kevin did at our home today. Following the city change out of our water meter, we discovered a small drip/leak at the incoming water valve that required coordination with the City for shut off/turn on, and Kevin's work for replacing the valve(s). Not wanting to risk a worse leak at the before the meter shut off, I called and explained the problem and Ron and Ruth got us on the schedule as quick as possible. Kevin showed up early to begin his work, along with coordination with the city worker to do their part. Kevin was friendly, professional, and very proficient in both the repair and a couple of minor improvements needed as well. In my opinion, Cedar Rapids is fortunate to have the Valenta Plumbing Legacy alive and working in our City. I can't say enough positives about my experience with Valenta Plumbing and especially their repairman, Lance. Yesterday he repaired a hot/cold water mixing valve that we've had problems with for years. During the process of replacing the valve, he had to run to our local, small-town hardware store for some extra supplies to fashion a custom fitting due to our older-style plumbing. The custom-made gizmo he came up with did the job perfectly! Today, everything is working as it should have when our walk-in tub was installed some 13 years ago! For this recent job, my first contact was with owner, Ron Valenta via phone. He quickly set up the repair date (we live 80 miles north of their main office) and was extremely cordial and accommodating. Today I gave Ron a quick call to commend Lance on not only the great job he did but on his affable demeanor. And Ron said, "You're not the first to be impressed with Lance!" I highly recommend Valenta Plumbing. You won't find a nicer (or more competent) group of people to deal with.

My wife Karen and I were very pleased with our Valenta Plumbing experience. Our 24+ year old gas hot water heater stopped working unexpectedly and we initially spoke with Ron. He was professional, offered great advice and quickly scheduled our appointment. Jeff and Jarod arrived on time, were very knowledgeable and pleasant, worked quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. In particular, Valenta was responsive to also taking care of a few additional plumbing tasks that we had simply put on hold due to the COVID pandemic. We took advantage of having Jeff and Jarod on site and they repaired a leaky bathroom faucet and installed a new toilet. We highly recommend Valenta and will without a doubt be a returning customer if needed.

Requested a quote and was told I would get contacted back. It has been two weeks and I have not received any call. I reached out to two other plumbing companies in the area and they called back and scheduled within the hour (Dalton and Benjamin Franklin). Two stars because reviews seem like their work is good but they should have a better quote intake system or something because I don't know how else they get business.

I called Valenta after experiencing a frozen pipe that split and leaked quite a bit of water into our downstairs when we turned on the outdoor faucet for the first time since winter. Dalton was at our house in about an hour. He was courteous and polite, and really did a great job. The outdoor faucet was replaced, a new shut off valve was installed to help with winterizing - all in less than an hour! Thanks, Dalton!

After discussing with the representative from Valenta the various options available for replacing our hot water heater, we felt a tankless heater was our best option, The installer arrived the next morning and was prompt, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He installed the unit and explained all about the operation and maintenance required in a very understandable and thorough manner. He contacted us the next day to make sure everything was working correctly and that we were satisfied, I would definitely recommend Valenta plumbing and their installer.
